of how Signed by the Author.com works
- Place a link to Signed by
the Author.com on
your website, to let your readers know they can
receive copies signed personally for them on this
site.
- Fill out a simple form for each title you’d like to
list on the site and submit the listing fee of $25 per title
(not per book sold), which covers the cost of setup.
For more than one title, the following quantity pricing applies:
2-3 titles: $20 each
4-6 titles: $15 each
7+ titles: $10 each
- Each new listing on our site
- is added to all relevant genre/category pages
- is added to our “featured
items” page
- When a reader purchases one of
your books, you’ll receive:
- an email containing a
pre-addressed, postage-paid label to
print and affix to an envelope, with Signed
by the Author.com’s return address
- the name of the person
to whom the book should be signed
- the reader’s
contact information and email address to
add to your database
- Sign the book, affix the label
to the envelope, and mail from your own mailbox.
When you reply to your notification email that
the book has been sent, your reader will receive
confirmation.
- Signed
by the Author.com takes care of the money order,
check, or credit card transaction with the buyer and collects any applicable sales tax.
- You'll receive
a quarterly payment from Signed by the Author.com for 75% of the retail price of each
book sold.

open to the entire book market.
What if I
already sell my books on my own site?
Not a
problem! It costs almost nothing to add your books to
our site as well, and in return you’ll get increased
advertising, exposure to our site’s visitors, and
included in our promotional mailings.
Can
self-published books be listed on the site?
Yes, we are open to self-published books. The
submission process is slightly different, so please be sure to submit
the needed information.
