New author Bulelwa Mabasa joins host Fred Khumalo on the third episode of the Books and Beverages podcast to discuss her passion for the land.

Mabasa recently released My Land Obsession, a memoir that discusses the impact of the Group Areas Act on her grandparents who were forcibly removed from Sophiatown and moved to Meadowlands in Soweto.

She is a practicing attorney and head of the land reform tenure and restitution practice at Werksmans Attorneys.

Mabasa takes us back to herself at the age of five when the land issue was first raised by her father and sheds light on the journey that unfolded from there.
