She left the show in 2017 after seven seasons. When the ex-star of RHOA Phaedra Parks spoke about her book at the point of sale, she described the damage that real housewives could do to someone.
“I think anyone who’s been on it for more than four to five years will suffer from PTSD because it can be very traumatic,” she said.
As for the book, Phaedra Parks will target a target audience of women who might identify with her story. She also noted that men could read it too, but she considered it “a book for women”.
“So I wanted to write a book for women – men can read it too – that really gave some of my testimony of just being a winner,” Phaedra Parks said.
